At the moment, we are busy uploading the latest ongoings by only a few staff members,
So we have little time to upload older series and series that are being requested.

Right now, we require casual uploaders that can encode anime into .rmvb using ERMP and upload onto Megaupload.
Anime that you can help upload are anything not on Anime-Sensei Download Page or is on the Request Anime List
Note 1: Ongoing anime will be ignored as they are already being uploaded by current staff.
Note 2: Licensed anime will not be published on the site.

Once installed, use these settings to encode the anime.
Note: For author, put whatever you like to be referred to as.


Uploading
You have two ways to upload the file:

• Megaupload's website
• Megaupload's MegaManager

Note: For file description, put in www.anime-sensei.net and you can include your alias as well.

This is completely up to you, depending on whether it is faster for you to upload via the first way or the second.

Once you have the complete series / ova / movie uploaded,

Installed that Easy RM Producer (Win7b), try to convert Naruto S. 121 avi but it does nothing but showing a failed = 1 or everything = 0 message.

How do you use that converter, which settings do you use?

add -> open a supported container -> start

The settings posted are pretty much the same as the default settings given after installing, so it shouldn't be the problem. Try another converting another file.

There is a FAR easier way to encode files.

Just use the eRightsoft Super video converter. It will convert almost any media file into almost anything else. It's also 100% free.

Installing Easy RM Producer messed up something making MPC not showing subs anymore. Reinstalling (newer) version of K-Lite Codec Pack fixed it.

704x400, could be bigger or smaller depending on the show.

first of all, thanks for introducing me to the ERMP...
My PC loves mkv's, my mp4 player lover rmvb's, so mkv-rmvb is the perfect conversion combo : )
RealProducer just wouldn't play with mkv's... but ERMP does!!!

The only downside is the sofsubs.
If it can encode from mkv's I couldn't see why not with softsubs, so I tried some things and....

  I GOT IT TO WORK!!!

So, the difference between the working non-softsub and working softsub is directvobsub. This standard handles the subs. But apparently it doesn't work so well with the encoder. I thought ffdshow does work well with the encoder and this can handle subs as well. So I disabled directvobsub with Codec Tweak Tools and enabled the sub-handling in the ffdshow video decoder. Then when I made shure ffdshow would handle the decoding, it worked...

So make shure ffdshow is the only one handling subtitles and is the default decoder and you can handle soft subs as well : )

Do we have to use rmvb format, or can we use mp4 using Bencos?

I hate rmvb for several reasons.  One is that when you seek further in a video, it takes a second or two or longer for the audio to catch up.  It crashes every once in a while due to incompatibility.  MP4 doesn't have those problems.

You're forgetting A-S is mainly a rmvb site and not everyone have the problems you have.
 
If you're going to upload for us, make them above 70mb, and don't upload mp4 from other sites.
