but you can include the color pages and covers of the magazine in volume 6 like you did in previous volumes.

I just discovered this series, and I can't get enough. Series like these are why I started watching anime/reading manga.  It's weird and dark and awesome all at once.  It reminds me of two of my favorite works, Berserk and Blame!  After gorging myself on mainstream shonens as Berserk's release schedule becomes glacial, this was just what I needed.

Yeah, I know from my connections in Japan that they even talk about Shingeki in TV and newspaper. It's currently the most popular and best selling manga and I can't remember anymore that I was waiting for a series getting adapt into anime finally.

Weekly Shonen Jump was really dumb not publishing Shingeki, now Kodansha has won the Jackpot. Isayama isn't really a good artist (yet) but the story is a big hit and hopefully he either continues this title for a long time (without getting boring like Gantz) or he comes up with another big hit soon after.

i don't think "dumb" is the right word. if someone brought an amazing erotic manga to WSJ, would they be dumb for refusing to publish it?

They should have just redirected Isayama to some shueisha seinen magazine.

I still don't get why did he bring it to WSJ in the first place.
He must have known that he'd have to make significant changes to the story in order for it to be suitable for jump.

and after all those changes Shingeki would be a much less interesting manga.
So there is a high chance that it wouldn't get successful at all.
Especially considering that it's main audience would be WSJ readers, the kids that worship naruto, bleach and one piece.

Internet is not as larger as I think. I stumbled on this awesome manga in an online reader website so I decide to download it. Lo and behold, the website of the translation group leads me directly to this nostalgic website. Thank you for your hard work.

I am wondering though, since this manga apparently is hot selling in Japan, shouldnt the author has enough money to hire skill assistants to improve on the drawing aspect? Not that I think that drawing is bad since my standard is pretty low anyway and it has such an awesome story so far.
