Megaupload too slow - October 2009

why megaupload are sooooo s*ck .i like media fire more than megaupload (it kind slow through) and does any one know how i can get the happy hour time? i live in indonesian.

for me megauplod is better than media fire...all my file tht i download from mediafire will stop when reach 99.99%..dunno y

Lol, nice first post. Anyway, I have to complain about Megaupload.com. It got so god damn fucking slow! Yes, really slow! I mean I got a premium account and used to watch megavideo in near hd quality and getting 14000 Kb/s. And now??? It gives me god damn fucking 13 - 30 KB/s per second. Not nearly fast enough to watch an anime in crappy quality and resolution.

And why is that? I came up with several reasons and theories:

#1 Financial crisis drove ads revenue to the bottom, leading to a cut in traffic expenses. As you know fast traffic is EXPENSIVE. So my theory is that Megaupload switched to a cheaper traffic plan.

#2 They started storing files in overseas data centers. This might be good for US user who can profit from low latency and high download rate, but will consequently leave out all other users around the globe who just doesn't happen to live in Texas!

#3 Pirates stole my cables!

#4 Once again some Arabian ship managed to cut undersea cables between America and Europe.

So what do you think? Should we banish Megaupload for being slow and ripping off their customers?

I don't thnk that megaupload is slow. I'm a premium member from 3 months and i always download at 600 - 1000 KB/s   

Surely is much better of rapidshare (of which i'm a premium member too)...

Megaupload works great for me, I've never had a problem with them. Rapidshare on the other hand... -_-
