I really dislike most of the shoujo stuff (Fruit Basket etc.), but I like this Shoujo :D
The art is not too shoujo style or basically very good, the chars are nice and the story seems interesting and unique so far ^^

The subber has stopped subbing this series but the volume 5 was just released so he will probly pick it back up in a week or so he subbs at a decent speed about 1 chapter every 4 days, so a volume takes less than 2 weeks

It will take some time. The next volume (vol.6) is expected for the 22nd February

... not to mention that the scanlation teams will still have to translate it... patience is a virtue they say...

Thanks for the info, haha. I've been dying to read the next volume, but at least now I know when it's coming out. Feb 22nd seems so far away. Hopefully the releases won't take too long. D:

It's out, JanimeS already has 2 copies, except klisis won't do it until late next month or early May. She says it's not going where she wants it to go. Well, sheesh. Not prioritizing something because it's not going your way. I'd think the word "sulky" is appropriate but I won't say it. I should already thank klisis since she's the only scanner...

Well, is the raw of vol6 available somewhere? I can't wait to see how it's going on...

Only Klisis has it. If I can find a translator we can get the raws out and edit it to English even earlier. And Klisis has never posted raws, so yeah. You might have some luck with Chinese sites...

And it's not that we're impatient... Klisis does have a lot of projects going on, and Superior isn't one of her priorities. Besides if we had translators, it does have potential to be a lot faster. :D

To you. I'm doing Superior for klisis since she has no interest in it anymore. If anyone would have actually contacted her to help when she asked for it, I wouldn't have stepped up to volunteer my help to her. So, if you want more translators on it, ask those who are interested to contact klisis. And I don't bother spending as much time on this as klisis does, but I think releasing every 4-7 days is fine for a one-woman team (me). I will be releasing again in a day or two and at that point volume 6 will already be half-way done.

Well, yes. Klisis just notified me that Superior Volume 7 is coming out June 21. If I can get a translator ready by the end of the end we'll have MOAR SUPERIOR!!! YEAH!!!
So please, if you're a free Japanese translator, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reply here and say you're willing to work with me and the rest of the Aznman team to get it out!!!

:-) That is sweet of you. I am not really sure how hard finding translators is. I've never really gone looking for one. I did not commit to volume 7 even though she asked me if I want to do it, because I want to open the door to those who want to scanlate it faster in the spirit of JanimeS. Also, I want to help translate Eden for MU.

So, yeah, to any translator reading this: if you can ensure you+the editing group who has volunteered can scanlate 20-page batches faster than my current once a week rate, please contact klisis. However, if the full cycle (from scrubbing, cleaning, translating, to typesetting) takes your group longer than a week, I think I would rather do volume 7. I actually only spend maybe 3 days out of the 7 days in my 'production' cycle working on this. Oh, and because of the way I work, I do the scrubbing, cleaning, translating, typesetting all at once: it is more convenient for me to do all concurrently than to coordinate with a full-blown group.

I'm working on Code Geass right now, and I usually do 8-10 pages a day translating, cleaning, and typesetting. With summer coming I'll have even more time. So translators, please contact or reply if you can~~~
But like you I find solo jobs much easier... there's less disagreement, hassle, and time lost. But I guess it's a necessary evil since I can't do Japanese <_<

afaik the series end was just due to juridical issues. Basically its the same, as the plot continues without break.
without doubt one of my favorites, even though the recent chapters weren't quiet as good as the early ones.^^

Probably has something to do with it jumping magazines. Happens to a lot of series. (Trigun for example)

God heavens, finally we are done with volume 4, it was hard to reach the end with it...

We planned to release volume 5 & 6 at the end of this month to complete Superior Cross finally but some assholes spoilered chapter 18, so we skipped QC on volume 5 and release it now. Volume 6 will follow.

After we released Superior Cross 6, we are looking for a typesetter who would be interested doing Superior 3-8 in high quality with us. Pm me.
