Not that far yet (don't know who anyone but Lucina is). But to expound a bit on my previous post about pairings, I appreciate the contrast between personalities, and if I were to pair Chrom with Robin, I feel that contrast would be far less pronounced. I just find that kind of matchmaking to be more memorable, charming, and endearing. :P
EDIT: by the way, you're playing the Japanese version of the game, I'm guessing?
Nope actually I'm waiting for it to be released here I just couldn't help myself and spoiled the story for myself after I went to a fire emblem fan site (serene forest)
Avatar, eh? See, I have a problem with avatar characters and how they're written; they always feel like "nothing" characters. No quirks, no qualities, no nothing to define them with. And the avatar in Awakening hasn't dissuaded me from that stance. He's the tactician and provides moral support every now and then, but besides that, what else can we say about him? Nothing much, really (his support conversations with other characters don't even help to define him, either; they act and he reacts, and that's the end of it). I imagine the female avatar is not much different.
But most people seem to prefer that faceless-silent protagonist in games so that they can immerse themselves in the story of games but yeah I too prefer that the characters and the protagonist in games to have definite traits, qualities and see them grow throughout (like reading a novel or something)
It is a little weird, isn't it? In her bio, it says how she can never seem to win Chrom's heart, but... I mean, she doesn't even have support conversations with him. They should have replaced Sully as one of his wife candidates with her if you ask me.
She should have switch places with Sumia no offense to anyone who likes her I just don't see the charm in Dojiko/Ditzy characters
Yeah, although they're not explicitly pushed as the canon pair, there are many hints suggesting that they are (we see them them in the opening with their baby, for example). Reminds me of Roy and Lilina.
It would have been better if they have a Cordelia(Tiamo) option for Chrom
