Rosario to Vampire Season II.
If you've seen Capu2, the manga season 2 is pretty different. The mangaka got a lot better at drawing and the plot got darker with more fighting. As a result, less ecchi but I think the better drawing style makes the girls look way sexier. That and unlike alot of stuff like this, the main character gets pretty badass early on in the season and stays that way.
Yeah, it's pretty amazing just how different the two series are. Particularly Tsukune. Capu2 Tsukune was just a meek guy always having to be saved by the girls, then manga Tsukune was basically "I AM SATAN INCARNATE! I WILL RIP OUT YOUR SPINAL COLUMN".

I'd like to recommend Golden Boys. It's an old manga but it has great story and can be very inspiring to the readers (although it's quite dirty with 18+ contents and quite twisted plots but that also makes it a good harem-seinen manga)

For the people that like action mangas, I suggest the actual work of Kouta Hirano, Drifters.

There you can see the historical figures summoned to an unknown world with elves, orcs, dwarfs and others races, to begin a new fight for conquest and survival.

Interesting is to vague a term. Often when asking for a recommendation you try to outline your tastes or preferences. Still I'll list some books:

Ubel Blatt

Ultimate Hentai Kamen

Iris Zero

Gou-Dere Bishoujo Nagihara Sora

Unbreakable Machine Doll

One of the mangas I fell in love with was Red River (also called Anatolia Story). What I loved about it was that although it was primarily a love story, the love story did not dominate the plot completely. The manga had a lot of action, intrigue, and suspense and tragedy woven around the central love affair.

This is the sort of manga I'd like recommendations for: something with an extremely powerful plot involving great events, and strong, believable characters, and a love story at the center of it all.

And, please, do not suggest Basilisk, as I've already read it. And I didn't like it that much -- I'd prefer a hero and heroine who are willing to kick aside tradition and battle destiny for the sake of being together.

Recommendations don't have to be fantasy or historical -- any superbly plotted action/suspense with a central romance will do.

Does anyone have good recomendations of manga about school life, comedy and some romance?????
P.S. im also intersted in mystery and harem genres ^^

Not sure if I'm doing this right, but Sakamichi no Apollon is rather bloody fantastic good. Also they have just begun to release the anime which by all accounts, most prominently mine, is FANTASTIC!

Lots of popular shonen manga have very sexy female characters, even if they are secondary characters : stuff by OhGreat! (Air Gear, Tenjô Tenge), History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Sun Ken Rock, even One Piece or Fairy Tail...

But if you look for manga with 90% female characters, then almost all the japanese-korean fighting manga should fit the profile (Freezing, Pandora Hearts, Aflame Inferno, Legend of Maian, ReBirth:Lunatic Taker, UnbalancexUnbalance...) or some simple harem-style : Maken-ki, Ichigo100%, DearS, Asu No Yoichi, Kimi No Iru Machi, Suzuka...

And some more perverted : Golden Boy, Oretama, Yuria 100%, Love Junkies, Princess Lucia...

Torû Fujisawa (GTO, Tokko, Rose Hip Rose) draws very sexy girls too. ^^

Wow that's pretty hardcore that you wrote down all the mangas you read.  You should try myanimelist.net or mangaupdates.com to keep track of the manga you read online.  they also have similar manga recommendations.

anyway i know this is manga suggestion section but i recently started getting into korean manhwas and besides the breaker, one of my favorites is Tower of God.  its in webcomic form but nonetheless very interesting.  its fantasy battle adventure with a little mystery, comedy, strategy.  very shounen like

Of the current Shonen Jump series, the only ones I really enjoy are Beelzebub and Nurarihyon no Mago. I like Beelzebub because it's side-splittingly funny, and the mangaka doesn't take himself too seriously and tends to poke fun at the traditional cliches and tropes. I like Nurarihyon no Mago because the mangaka weaves traditional Japanese mythology into the story very well.

Other non-Jump series I like are Piano no Mori, D-Fragments, Genshiken, K-ON, and Keroro Gunsou. I suppose I favor light and humorous stories and shy away from dark and angsty stuff.

Personally, I like (Manga)
-One Piece
-Full Metal Alchemist
-Soul Eater
-Kuroshitsuji (Before the Zombie arc they're on now, to me that's just annoying)
-Claymore
-D.Gray Man
-Black Cat
-Gintama
-Deathnote
-Liar Game

Recently, however, I've been getting into novels. Especially
-Legendary Moonlight Sculptor
-Eclipse Hunter
-Sword Art Online

In terms of recommendations, though, are there any good manga/novels which have a strong fantasy element or are gaming related?
I'm looking for obscure titles, because chances are, I've read the more known ones.

Mangaka asistant or something like that. Have many cute girls. Most of them are flat-chest though lol.

But so far, I like it. Various personality and some of them are tsundere character. The main character is hilarious as well.

If you're mostly looking for eye candy, To-LOVE-ru is pretty decent. To-LOVE-ru: Darkness is decent-er. Ichigo 100% is good, but I found it to be a downer sometimes. Negima! is mostly full of 15 year olds, if that bothers you. However, a few of them are secretly old enough to ogle and only feel like the basic level of perv. Try and guess who they are as you read. I think you'll be surprised.

Hey guys.

I've been watching anime and reading manga for...well over a decade now and I'm trying to take it to the next level.
I'm getting back into learning Japanese (took a 121 level college class about 2 years go but haven't had the time for the next course) and plan on reading child-level raw manga to make it more fun.

I've already decided to start out with Yotsubato! because I LOVE the fun stories and crisp artwork.  Does anyone have any other suggestions that might work for me?

(note that at the moment I only know a handful of kanji, so furigana is a must)

Thanks for the imput in advanced! :hi:

Well I would recomend "Kuragehime". It's a cute manga, the Genres are: Comedy,  Gender Bender,  Josei,  Romance,  Slice of Life.

Description
Kurashita Tsukimi is an 18-year-old 'kurage otaku' (jellyfish fanatic). She lives in Tokyo in an all-female apartment complex full of various types of otaku. They fear and despise beautiful, fashionable people while existing happily in their no-man, no make-up world.
That all changes when a 'hipster' saves the life of a jellyfish and intrudes upon Tsukimi's isolated existence. Things are made even more complicated when it turns out that the beautiful woman is actually a man in drag. (manga updates).

I'd recommend these manga:

Boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai - By Itachi, based on a light novel, it's the story about a guy who, due to his physical appearance, has difficulties to make friends. He meets a weird girl who talks to an imaginary friend, and they end up creating a club where they learn how to create friendship.

Tomehane - It's the story of a Japanese returnee, who used to live abroad. He ends up joining a calligraphy club and shows talent.

hey, can anybody recommend any good sports manga or anime? preferably a team sport kind, i used to really like reading sports mangas before i transitioned into more mainstream mangas, and now when i wanna look for a sports manga or even anime i'm having quite a bit of trouble since not a lot of them are scanlated or subbed, thx in advance
There is already a thread for this.  You should use it.

Fullmetal Alchemist!!! It's definitely one of the best shonen manga out there, and has 2 great anime adaptations.
I'd also check out Soul Eater, which has a pretty unique art style and a good story, One Piece, because of it's amazing world and characters, and Trigun, for awesome character designs and interesting fights.

Hope that helps! :]

One piece is the best.
Naruto, Hajime no ippo, History of Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Bleach, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Toriko are what I read weekly. I'm not sure if you like them but you should give a try.

I would second Witch Craft Works, Rosario to Vampire, or Claymore.

I enjoyed Rosario to Vampire as a bit of light reading. Claymore was more serious and, while I felt it dragged in places, I've enjoyed most of what I've read.

Witch Craft Works is one of the few I've read that I have actually had a hard time remembering to have patience while waiting on the next chapter.  Though I couldn't pin down what exactly made it stand out so much for me WCW just peaked my interest more than most others I've read which is admittedly not too many.
