I have to second itachiiab.  Novels in Japanese strain my brain to much to enjoy them.  Rain looks to be an interesting story based on my impressions of SiH's scanlation.  Anyone have the raws to the manga?  Are volumes even out for the manga or are the pictures of Vol 1+2 from the novels?  The name is so simple its hard to search for the raws in english (still trying in Japanese).

I' ve read the 1st chap (manga) and I found that to be a pretty good manga.

As anyone has this manga in japanese, like vol 1 to vol 2 ?

unfortunately i can't read japanese, but i've read the first chapter of the manga

this may well be the best fantasy made in japan since lodoss war

where can we find the first chapter of the manga(the translation will be easier to understand if i can read it first)?

Rain (レイン)

Author: YOSHINO Takumi (吉野匠)

Description:

Quote (selected)
The continent Murgenia, where they master swordsmanship and magic:
The small country Sunkwoll is in a tight spot because it's under attack of the great country Zarmine. But the general, Rain, who's reputed to be an exceptionally gifted swordsman, is against the war and won't enter the battle. But how is one supposed to wage a war like this anyway? (from baka-update)
