I'm hailing from Cebu, one of the islands of the small country of the Philippines. We're basically next door neighbors with Japan but haven't gone there yet (not even once), opportunity has not knocked yet. Lived here and still living here.... I guess. Philippines is one of the Christian countries, but some Muslims and other ethnic religions still lives.... as for me well, I was baptized Christian.

We are of the Malay race and our 'kayumangi' (a tone of fleshy-brown) is one of our distinct features. But is now mixed in with other races as well with the occupation of Japan and America, the settlement of Chinese and intermarriages with other races.

The Philippines is one of the sought tourists around the world go to for vacations. it is an archipelago with 7,107 (that's a lot) and more than 200 ethnic languages (inc. Tagalog, Waray, Cebuano, Ilocano and the list goes on, and oh some are dying by the way) and a lot of other adopted languages (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, German to name a few).

Although 'Filipino' is our national language, we have come to embrace the Universal Language as our main secondary language. And because of our relatively cheaper education and high quality neutral accent English, we are also a destination for non-English country citizens to study English.

We are food loving, songs singing, peace loving country.

I lived in HK for more than 20 years, Tokyo for a while few years ago, and just moved a small city in the UK few months ago. I can speak Cantonese and Japanese, but my Japanese skill is getting a bit rusty now...
I thought I hated the hot and busy HK and Tokyo, but now I miss the delicious food and vibrant atmosphere of both cities... so I'm reading a lot and buying many figures and gunplas to fill that void, and I feel bad...

I am Brazilian. Basically I was born in the country and raised at province's capital. Here some people officially speaks portuguese but there are ones that know english or spanish as well. Spanish or at least a poor mix between portuguese and spanish is wide known here because here is not so far from some other latin america countries.

G'day,

On forums and gaming communities, I usually go by the name of 'Creeper_'. Anyways...

I'm from Australia, and currently living in Brisbane, which is the third largest city in Australia with a population around 1.5 million.

I speak Australian English, as well as Vietnamese and a little bit of French and Japanese.
By the way, I'm not the 'typical' Aussie. I'm more like the 'typical' Asian :P.

Anyhow... have a great day :P

Hiya all!!
I am from Davao, Philippines. I was born and raised there. I guess it's pretty peaceful there at a certain extent.
I am currently working in Cebu City.  When I first arrived the place was a step higher in terms of construction but Davao is not catching up.  Thanks to the efforts of our Mayor.  I am of of Asian ethnicity. I can speak English, Tagalog and Bisaya, but I am more comfortable in speaking in Bisaya.

Good morning/afternoon/evening!
I'm a noob from the pearl of the east: the Philippines.
I can speak, read, and write in english and tagalog (a Philippine sub/regional-language) fluently.
But at the same time, still self-studying Japanese.

I was born in Indonesia, but I'm actually Chinese (in terms of "race"). Even though I'm Chinese I was better in Japanese since I could play shiritori with my friend. I start loving Japanese culture since high school.

Hello My name is Guillermo or William
I am from Galicia, Spain.
I have supossedly a C1 Level in english, a CELGA 4 in Galician (native speaker) and I am a Spanish native speaker. I studied french, japanese, quechua and german but it was an utter failure. I wanted to learn new languages because i like to read new things every day, I always will be a bookworm (rata de biblioteca).
I would like to learn Korean and chinese but i dont have the gift of tongues. I a watched a lot of Kdramas over the years but still now i only can understand a few words they say.

Well... Hello.
I was born in Moscow, Russia. I have lived all my life here.
Relatives of mine are mostly from Russia, and some of them are from Ukraine and Kazakhstan. So... I think I'm russian.
My mother tongue is Russian. Because of school, I've learned English for 10 years already. I also have French for 2 or 3 years, but I'm not interested in it.
Nowadays, I'm trying to improve my English and to learn Japanese, cause I'll need them for my future job (I believe so).
