Yeah, no C, no Q, no X. Also lots of vowels all together - mooi, ne?

I also know that "C" isn't use in afrikans and it is replace by "K", did i make a mistake somewhere. I only know the basics like dankie, more and etc(don't even know if i spell it correctly)...

I hate Flemish or Flaams  :hahaha:

en rustig does not means tired
it means relaxed

Yeah, moeg is tired. I assumed context with your line - rather than asking me to relax, I assumed you we're saying that I was snoozing at the wheel.

Uh, sure. The language isn't much use outside of South Africa though. It is a lot closer to Flemmish than Dutch. I can understand Dutch when it is written, but the accent usually gets me. I've watched TV in Flemmish and I can follow it.
What do you want to know?

The line that I posted about - Ek is nie rustig nie, net 'n klein bietjie stadig vanaand - would be pronounced 'Ak us nee ruhstugh nee, net ah clain beekee stahdugh finaahnd. Direct translation would be "I am not tired not, just a little bit slow tonight". The language uses double negatives. The 'g' sound in rustig and stadig is a hard gutteral g. It should sound like you're trying to clear your throat. You should also roll your 'r' sounds.

Okay, I'll grant that 'tou' can be used for rope or string. I'll also grant that 'broekie' means short pants. Sadly though put the two together and you don't get thong, you get the Afrikaans word for sandwich. Unless there was some major deep pun, with buns or something, I reckon you're stretching the use of the language.

Ek is nie rustig nie, net 'n klein bietjie stadig vanaand.

^I did it to a bunch of Mexican workers at one of my favorite burrito places all summer. I accidentally responded to the cashier in spanish one time and his face flushed. They then asked how long I was listening in to them and told them the whole time. Then they laughed and gave me a free burrito  :yay:

I did it at an dutch airport..
they usually gives people from Suriname the pooper hole check/and other drugs check, if you're around my age.

I just let them scan my bag.
get to the other side and talk with them in Dutch :hahaha:
