Negi's mother might have died when she gave birth to Negi, so he has no memories of her and she isn't as important to him as his father. And Negi's "sister" seems to be his cousin.

i agree that the anime version other than the first one sucked but they don't suck as bad as the live action tv version

anime season 1 & 2(remake) were awful indeed, but I m looking forward to negima 3rd anime, 3 ODAs about Asuna making the White Wings & classmates during summer holiday  they say it ll much the same like the manga (but just 3 episodes  )

yeah i didnt saw the anime but i think its not that good compared to the manga and they even made a remake they should just make a season 2 or something wat a waste and i cant find any negima to upload in mkv or mp4

narukura is right, she s a minister magi. NOT a magister magi.

The “pactio” system has two components comprising it: The “Magister Magi” and the “Minister Magi”, the master and slave. and of course in this case negi is the master and yue is the slave.
and maybe 1 slave can have 2 masters, just as when setsuna tried to make pactio with konoka. or to see that albireo has so much cards with him.

but she still doesn't remember who Negi is but she knows that her pact is with him.

when yue look carefully the back of her pactio card and found out that her master is negi, not nagi, I really wish she would shared that info with emily & collet wonder how their faces would look like when they hear that

shounen magazine is released on wednesday, and just like onepiece naruto from jump, usually we can get negima's chapter on the net on that day.

I get my raws on tuesday so i think it is tuesday!

I wondered that because i saw 212 raw on last week(golden week)!

no, chapter 212 was released this week on 7th which is not golden week (but we got it faster on 4th). Golden Week break was over already on 6th, and mahou sensei negima had a Golden Week break already a week before that on april 30th.
next week chapter will be released on 14th btw.

The lack of any information regarding Negi's mother always irked me.  It simply doesn't make sense to focus so much on Nagi and not even bother telling the readers Negi's mom's name.  Even if she was completely unremarkable, she undoubtedly still had a name right?

eh... that's right... I never noticed that we know nothing about the mother. Maybe she died when Negi was born so Negi never knew her and since she's really dead he has no reason to search for her. To tell you the truth it never interested me who his mother was.

Too bad thats not possible with the current magic and technology and even with Chao that was waaaaaayyy into the future where Negi is already long and gone. Well he could just pop a age pill to see their reactions but thats already been done. Now if only everyone would realize that thats Negi and not Nagi who is suppose to be his cousin I'm pretty sure everyone will want him even more

I think that would probably to get around having the ecchi without it turning rather pedo.
Negi is so young right now that even puberty is way beyond the horizon.
Having a young boy in a hareem manga, is kindo off balance. He currently doesnt have the tools to do anything remotely ecchi even if the H-thoughts can enter his head.
 
If he does, I believe the descriptive term is shota, kindo the male equivalent of loli complex. 

Thats the point of the manga!
It is nice and funny to see negi and his harem creep around  with these things and feelings

The two artifacts work like this: with ring your able to know the targets name. The other artifact converts whats written into audio hence the earpiece. I loled when she said that its too dangerous
