Just finished watching the newest episode of Hundred and man that was cute.
But yeah, my weekly "I disappear for hours" list currently is:
Re:Zero -Starting a life in another world-
I have a soft spot for shows where a normal person is pulled into fantasy world, during last year the anime that filled this spot was GATE and Re:Zero hasn't been disappointing me. Characters are cute and I like the premise. Can't wait to see where this goes! The Asterisk War: Second Season: http://www.crunchyroll.com/the-asterisk-war
I thoroughly enjoyed the first season of Asterisk War when I watched it earlier last year and now that they're airing the second season I am really happy.
Unfortunately the show started really slow during this season and is just now started to pick up. We'll see what'll happen when we get later into the episodes!Ace Attorney: http://www.crunchyroll.com/ace-attorney
Now, Phoenix Wright -games were my "I need to play something calming and funny" during the Nintendo DS era and I really loved them. It is great to see that such a loyal adaptation of the first game has been turned into an anime. It is a little bit of a shame as I pretty much know all the twists and turns and culprits after playing through the game so many times, but I still am watching this through!
Big Order: http://www.crunchyroll.com/big-order
I almost skipped over this, but I am thankful that I did not. Really interesting premise and having the whole world against the main character is super interesting. Too bad that so far there has been many super cliched choices in story progression, but I'll let those slide.Hundred: http://www.crunchyroll.com/hundred
I am not much into mecha stuff, but Hundred captured me with its character. Otherwise this feels kind of a generic shonen anime, but that doesn't mean I do not enjoy it. Especially this latest episode that just came out (ep. 6) was super cute and made me feel good about where the show is going!
High School Fleet: http://www.crunchyroll.com/high-school-fleet
Something about putting little girls into situations where one does not expect to see them and the setting of this show just hit me. This is a silly show with nothing too special to my eyes, except cute characters and surprisingly dark backtones. I did enjoy watchin Kantai Collection when it was a thing, so that may also explain my affection towards huge warships and loli girls in the same setting.Anne-Happy: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anne-happy
I love me some silly, brain meltingly dumb and girly shows every once in a while and Anne-Happy provides that. It follows the general trope of having a dumb main character and another one who seems to be there just to suffer from main characters idiocy, but all the characters work very well together and have me smiling at the end of the episode.
Cute is the only truth in the world.Flying Witch: http://www.crunchyroll.com/flying-witch
Oh boy did this show surprise me. I absolutely ADORE the art style of this end even though this is not action packed or psychologically intense show that people seem to like a lot, for me Flying Witch is one of those shows that just make me smile REALLY widely when the episode begins, during the episode and when it ends.Lost Village: http://www.crunchyroll.com/the-lost-village
This show really confuses me and I do not really know if I like it or not. It has an interesting setting and characters, but something just doesn't click. Still, I find myself watching a new episode every week and questioning the same thing every time.
That may just mean that it is a good show and I enjoy it, but I do not know why.
and outside Crunchyroll I am watching:Shounen Maid
Another one of these super cute shows I really enjoy. The main character is silly and cute and other characters work really well with him. I also do enjoy the setting and reactions of the people in it!Endride
This I started watching like two days ago and didn't even know it existed, but after I watched the first episode I had to watch the rest that were released at that point. Again, I have a soft spot for shows where main character is pulled into a fantasy world and that doesn't change with Endride. Unfortunately the show seems just a tad bit plain and characters at points feel kind of rushed, but we'll see!Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?
Now this is a show for me. It is about just being a NEET and getting absorbed into an MMO and the minute I saw one of the characters the show just clicked. Probably one of the more pleasant surprises for the summer season!
