What kind of awards?  Are you talking unofficial or, like, change your hardcoded profile awards?  We had the Carnival last year but after what happened, I doubt that anyone would want to run it again; that was a lot of work.  You could do something on a smaller scale, though, if you just wanted to make a thread in Offtopic or something.
