Hi!!!

I think people don't choose their land (or city) , it's the land which raise you... Your love ones and memories are most likely where you're born.
It's true that you can make them all over the world, but something will always call you back...
I think that's what we call "roots"...
So basically that depends where you're born! And those who struggle with other languages won't say otherwise!!!

Your not wrong or right in this matter, I for one can say, my country has lots of wonderful places but also dangerous by nature. Any country has those violence in w/c you can find anywhere in the country, where you or i lived in, murders, rapes, suicides all of those we consider that are in our society today.

I may have a warped view of the world but I've noticed countries with lots of negative headlines on the news are places you can do without visiting let alone live there. (high unemployment, public unrest, looting, shooting, rape, countries where the freedom of human rights are not upheld(Nth Korea), places of ethnic violence)

And I may offend some people but countries with serious religious beliefs(muslim extremists) and common religious violence i.e. Car bombs, and with negative attitudes of discrimination because of perceived stereotype, skin colour, demongraphic, gender. i.e. A white skinned person May have a higher risks of bodily harm when travelling in Iran, Afghanistan, and perhaps some other middle east countries. (without bullet/ bomb proof body armour)

Also avoid places where society are less civilised. Not in the sense that places with higher development are 'civilised' but rather in the 'way' and 'nature' of the people, how they conduct themselves and act towards others in a 'civilised' proper dignified manner, with integrity, Morals. Such places are Hard to find and changes over time, hence no particular cities mentioned.

For working, I think the country side would be better. Because you can understand the living condition of how hard it is around there. They're the original resources of anything you wear, eat, buy/sell, etc. But in general, I think larger cities is better although the larger the town is the bigger the population goes. And the bigger population can get a bit ...well a lot of crimes.

Personally, I think larger cities are more interesting to live in when you're younger since they are much more diverse!

Take NYC for example - it can be stressful, hectic, and messy but it is also so diverse at the same time!
It's a place where you can definitely find your niche. At the same time you can learn a lot by interacting with people with really different perspectives and backgrounds!

I also like the west coast a lot since there is a lot of nature~

I think it´s not about the place, but the people who you are with. Some of my friends who went to study/work in foreign places got depressed and lonely because they we´re too far away from their families. Even though It´s truth that there are different lifestyles here and there, as different resources (i would´nt live without internet so easily...)

Have you seen spice and wolf? anime? It´s way fun to travel with company. If any of us could have a companion like Horo, none of us would be writing post on internet.  :wahaha:

Centralized metropolitan cities are always filled with the most pretentious and condemning types of people from my experiences. The benefit to them is that it's very easy to hide if you have evil or highly criticized tendencies that you don't want people noticing. Hardly anyone will give you a second look in a big city and that can be great if you're a stone cold loner or horrendous if you want a life with some love in it lol.

I finally left the disgusting and trendy cities of America and lived in smaller rural areas. Everyone wants to know who you are but many people are eccentric and tolerated for their strangeness in some rural areas. Most rural towns I wouldn't recommend going if you're gay or really really different in religious practices. There are always small gay towns in Washington state and other areas that are for "specialists" lol. Personally, I Like to know who most of my neighbors are so I do not like hiding away in the cities very much. I'm strange as hell and love freedom so I always prefer staying in rural areas where there's a lot of space to be weird and I'm a good enough little guy to not threaten any locals.

Okay, Mod gonna kill me for spamming here :wahaha: :wahaha: :wahaha: :wahaha: :wahaha: :wahaha: :wahaha:

This is a half just-for-fun and half serious topic, so don't treat it too much serious, people :wahaha:

Simple: I'm still trying to look for a place (city, rural town, suburban,.... don't give a s***t, as long as I'm free to watch/read what I want and NOT be dubbed as child molester or crap like that ---> But don't mind that, just my usual stuff :wahaha:)

I want to ask you guy: Which cities are the best for working and living? Yours? or any other places?

You're free to choose what you like, but please, EXPLAIN as much details as you can why you choose it?
