That's a very nice collection of links. Maybe someone can clean the topic and merge all interesting links together.

File hosts? I found some good ones lately. Drop.io lets you make shares, which you can set to last for a year without any views. And then there's filedropper.com, with a 5 gb file limit. Also, there's eatlime.com, which lets you dl while the persons uploading it.

I know those two too. kiligaris has decent raws but it hasn't been updated for a looong time. Those listed there can also be found on Free Manga and Esthetique. And Michex still has the registration removed. I mean, I've been trying to get there for 1 year and still nothing!

Agressive? Not at all. We're on an open for discussion forum for god's sake!  :yay:

Anyhow, what guill points out is right. But still, not all ppl can handle resources as P2P. And many are new in the anime/manga industry. I don't think just because of lack of resources and knowledge they should be left out. We were all once young... So I support the existance of such communities.

But what is stated above is true. On another notice, I believe some ppl buy manga after a good raw/scanlating read, and support the title and mangaka. At least I do. As for scanlators it'd be best to buy tanks themselves and work their way up the old-earnest way, but still handing them resources isn't bad imo. Also, with communities such as these (jCafe, Raw Manga Blogspot, MangaHelpers etc) many willing scanlators have at least the 1st, raw material to work on. Though,  in recent years many titles are dropped, speed of releases lowers to an unbearable extend and both old and new good series never get picked up. Many so-called raw-hunters come and grab all various titles, to just store and never even shuffle through them. On the other hand, some series like Bleach, Naruto, One Piece etc (mainstream) have a bunch of scanlation teams and translators working on them. Don't take me wrong, I too follow many of those series. But in recent years I wonder why can't they willingly grab and start on another title rather than have 5 scanlations and 10 trls for 1 series... Most of them do a very good job. Can't they let 1 of them do it and the others follow trough something else?

I'm agree with senbonzakura. Megaupload and rapidshare (wich are probably 2 of the safiest filehost) are not that expensive.

Megaupload is just 6$ for one month and if you generate enough download, you can win 1 month / 6 months / life premium membership quite quckly.
For rapidshare, it's the same. You pay once, and with 10000download on your account you win an other free month of membership.
Believe me or not, but generating 10/50000 download a month is not that hard when your are not just a leecher ^^

Regarding raw sites, I think you just listed the more reliable and known ones. I have too some japanese "sources" , but well as it's all in japanese I don't think it's a great idea to add them here for now. Anayway, you can too find lot of japanese raw on chinese board, well mostly are mag scan, but sometimes you will see tank scan (99% of time, quality is just so-so).

This idea of "communauty", well as good points and bad points. Good is probably that you all be able to find more raws, dl faster, spend less time,...
Bad points (only my opinion) :
               - communauty means that all links will be shared everywhere, and that would/could be a problem for smaller sites (you know what i mean)
               - raw hunting must remain an "hard task" : lot of people right now never give a minute on how using a japanese p2p, even don't even know a word of japanese, too easy to find raws means so much leechers and so few helpers...

Badest point is for scanlation teams. Yeah it's great to be able to find a lot of raw volumes everywhere, but recently teams are scanlated stuff without ever buying 1 book. Scanlating means, for me, spending a lot of time on scanning/translating/editing/checking, well something you must be proud of,  so you SHOULD at least buy volumes you work on.

Anyway, my idea of communauty is somehow  different. My "wish" will probably to set up a "scanning communauty", just 50-100 motivated pals that can bring each month 100-200 new raw volumes.
That's why I "hate" (well I don't hate them, I just don't care) so much site/irc chan like lurk , that only brings stuff from p2p , never scan for stuff themself and think they are "raw god". And that's why I'm 100% with mangahelpers where people scan/translate/help others users.

I hope I'm not aggresiv with anybody and stay open about comments ^^

There are many other URLs but either temp down or verry little to share. I'll keep tracking some and add when they're available.

And somethig on filehosts. Some years back it was unthinkable to even pay to dl something. Nowadays there are many limitations that corner many users to buy Premium Memberships. That actually isn't too bad. For Example the 2 top Filehosts MegaUpload and Rapidshare. Megaupload is one of the best imo. It has no speed limit, no waiting, gives you 250 GB upload space and limitless all-round-the-day dls. And the cost is 60 Euros per year. That is the current pricing. Back on Christmas it was 50 Euros. And if you got some upload speed, you can share files and earn ponts wich will get you up for more months. If you're a working man/woman and you really dl much it's a good deal. Same with Rapidshare. It's 55 Euros, back on Christmas 50 too!. The limits are 25 GB per 5 days and ddl links. Also has a file sharing point system wich can get you more months. Even 4-Share has a lifetime 10 GB/week policy for 15 USD!

My point, if you can afford it: 1)Keep a few dollars/euros etc in your pockets every month, 2)Look out for special discounts, usually 3 times a year 3)Get some 6 month membership and work your way up with filesharing.
Note: This applies if your quite a hardcore anime/manga fan and you're dl-ing with broadband...

Lol, I only knew 3/4 of these, this is a good addition, for both old and new dlers. Btw, you should probably add that my site is having some server errors. Never mind, it finally works! It was due to a permissions error, files weren't set to 644, and folders to 755. Also, you should change MH's dl speed to poor-very good, they use sendspace for a lot of raws, and that's a very slow file host.

Manga Sharing Site Discussions

Hello guys and gals! As you all know this community has made it's first big steps into the vast world wide net for some time now. Making this forum 1 year, 5+ days back (yes, many ppl forgot but we ought to have a party!) nobody, or at least I, wouldn't have thought that it'd become a place with so many users, hundends of RAW manga titles and thousands of RAW manga file uploads. And not to mention the other forum sections... Though, it seems so far behind, it's not. And it's thanks to all of you and your efforts, your contributions that we came so far and continiue pushing forward.
It's been nagging me for some time now the fact that many ppl who ask where we get the raws or how to get the raws etc, don't have enough resources. There have been several tutorials on P2P programs posted here by fellow admins and mods HERE. I thought of making a different approach, in a more direct way. Not all ppl can handle that apprach after all. There are many old and new Sharing Communities, Sites, Forums, LiveJournals etc all around the web, some smaller, some bigger than "us", doing exact the same thing, sharing many different series/titles. My thoughts were to try to make a decent post out of this posting many of these Communities that I bumped into in my many years of RAW manga searching...

There's a saying that if you don't praise your house,...

So here we go:
