Bitcomet is the best for me, used it the first time and never stopped using it

I use 0.60, and Bitcomet is best for me since you can choose the max for your Up and Dl speeds, and since my upload speed is very slow, and then even divided in 3 I can't give to much...

also since I'm on a wireless conncection if my Dl speed goes up to high my connection dies

a few more reasons why I like Bitcomet is because of the info it gives, like trackers, general Up/Dl speeds, how long the torrent has been running, the tracker, info about the peers/seeders and some more

I also like the Statics where you can see how much you've Downloaded/Upload in total, atm it's 1,5 Tb download and 450 Gig upload, and had my laptop reinstalled 2 times before, so if you count the statics of those bitcomets up aswell it'd probably be around 2,5 Tb Download and 1,25 Tb Upload

bitcomet also has a build-in chat, not that I use it, wait, I used it once, had a nice talk with some Bleach Fans

I use BitComet, it was the only one I found back in the day that could get through all the security and bandwidth limiters my old school had set up and I've stuck with it ever since.

Well, bitLord is the one for me and will stay as it.
I have tried bitcomet but it ended up being a total ****.
utorrent is probably nothing BETTER than any other torrent system so I'm staying with bitlord.
I can easily remove trackers and have control over files (really, when it comes to being easy then there's nothing better than bitlord), I can have my home language (I think) and the interface is really simple but cool.

Utorrent for light downloads such as new weekly manga releases, and Azureus  for large files over the size of 1GB+.

BitLord is finished at 100% Trust me, it is.
But you should still check the file before deleting the torrent. I know that bitlord does a final check over some files sometimes. Takes a bit of time, but you can simply delete the torrent once you have checked if the file is okay. It is NOT okay if the name ends with .avi.bt or such. It should have a unknown file icon at that moment. But when it is done then it will simply have the file's name.

Your right
At 100% its already finish, and yeah I check the file if its in avi format before deleting it from the BT client. BitLord sure is a good BT client.

lol, but sometimes the download is really slow ...so I can't just 'going keep moving go go download from the endless void!' and I notice that new release episode is fast to download, and has a lot of seeds.

Btw, your using BitLord right? Do you limit your max download/upload? or you set it 'no limit'? And about the preferences, do you leave the settings as it is or change some of it?

Well I edited it all how I wanted it to be or liked it to be.
*The global maximum download/upload speeds are limitless.
*Max downloads able to run at once = 35 (If I have over 35 files downloading then the rest will wait until one of the 35 finishes, then takes its spot)

There are even smaller changes I made but those I guess are not worth talking about.
Simply change them however you want to. It's like updating a forum profile.

Torrents are far better than DDL imo
Although sometimes a torrent may lack seeds and move at slower speeds you wont have to hop from file host site to file host site to get your downloads.
Neither do you have to wait for anything.
DDL can have server limits and move at 50kbs which is worthless.

PPL that dont use torrents are:
-noobs
  OR
-Prefer DDL either for personal preference or have issues with torrents.

heh when i DDL i normally get around 600 - 800kb\s and sometimes 1mb\s in all of my torrents i do not go over 60kb/s really torrents are far from the fastest : | as i have yet to see a torrent that has gotten to 1mb/s EVAR ;o

i have used utorrent in the past before it was taken over by the anti piracy company it was good stable and such simple enough for noobs did what i wanted / asked of it (download the torrent plain and simple) i later tried Azureus (didnt work) it was big  and hogged memory on useless things i want a torrent download program to do just that download a torrent : | i like multitasking on my main computer and i cant have it being hogged by a torrent so i went on to bitcomet (i was actually trying to get bittornado and forgot the name) it was an improvement from Azureus it still had some useless features and my download speed wasn't the best but it worked so i was happy but it seemed to kill my last router ( there are a total of four before getting to me so port forwarding is a problem) and i had to go back and reset the router once a day wasn't so bad but then i went to play GUNZ on my laptop in the other room and my ping was 220 -270 which is not normal as i have a 7mb connection and usually have a 20 - 40 ping  so i paused the torrent and it was back at 30

i eventually remembered the name of bittornado and downloaded it and used it i am pleased with how simple it is, no extras does exactly what i ask of it and gets the same download speeds as all of the other ones and it doesn't use that much memory ( when downloading one) i am not really much of a torrent user so it is fine for me my download speeds with it are alittle lower but not bad about 400 - 500 kb/s  but i can live with that

eventually though i wondered if utorrent was faster since i haven't used it in awhile and well it gets the same speeds BUT i need to turn off peerguardian to use it since it goes through some anti piracy place in china(if i remember correctly) :| and if peergaurdian is on it will block it and when the connection to that place is blocked the program crashes for some reason : | so yeah i just went back to bittornado

(if you didn't know)
peergaurdian is a program that blocks ip's ...mm its kind of hard to explain but anyway it blocks certain ips for torrents that are known to give bad data on purpose and such : | and it blocks ips such as anti piracy that will collect data on you mmmm well there isnt much explanation on the site but it also blocks certain goverment ips and some spyware if you are somone who uses torrents often i recommend getting it
it isn't a replacement for a firewall but it can be used i suppose as a anti spyware but then again it  doesn't remove spyware just blocks an ip that distributes it o.o so yeah :|

it also blocks access to certain companies and game sites but you can always disable it with one click o.o
i recommend it : D it hasn't noticeably slowed my connection down also i am curious at what connects to me when i am doing nothing and are connected to the internet (it shows all incoming connections)

I'm mac user, and Azureus is the best so far. There are auto update feature, and tons of others.
You can even visually see the how you are connected with other seeds/Leechers.

peergaurdian wow thats old.
Cant believe someone still uses it.
IMO it served its perpouse and is no longer needed by anyone.

1MB speed on torrents is rare but iv have gotton them espeacialy from privte trackers such as blackcats.

Anti-pircy group took over utorrent?
when was this?

not took over  more like teamed up with
they aren't going to shut it down just monitor everything you do with it and sometime take actions to the hosts of the torrents (read up about it)

also yeah blackcats i usually get around 200-300 kb\s but still not at par with my DDL torrents are always my last resort anyway
(also i didn't get a new account in time on blackcats so i have to wait until they wipe again : | )

also it's peergaurdian 2 "Copyright © 2005 Phoenix Labs" not that old o.o 3 years? you are probably referring to the older version maybe ? and if so i am sure they named it peergaurdian 2 because there where so many changes to its original version so i wouldn't say its old itself
meh i haven't had any problems with spyware recently so it works fine to me  just the normal tracking cookies

I have done basically the same things iidonno did.
I tried them all, but I ended up with uTorrent, not BitTornado.
I am fine with both, but I think BitTornado had a seperate window for every torrent you download and it goes to system tray. I can't use internet when I download torrents anyway as my internet is 2 MB, but feels less than 1 MB so I use uTorrent to keep it clean.

I probably used all the popular Torrent Software available in the past years. And I'm pretty much comfortable using utorrent.

not took over  more like teamed up with
they aren't going to shut it down just monitor everything you do with it and sometime take actions to the hosts of the torrents (read up about it)

also yeah blackcats i usually get around 200-300 kb\s but still not at par with my DDL torrents are always my last resort anyway
(also i didn't get a new account in time on blackcats so i have to wait until they wipe again : | )

also it's peergaurdian 2 "Copyright © 2005 Phoenix Labs" not that old o.o 3 years? you are probably referring to the older version maybe ? and if so i am sure they named it peergaurdian 2 because there where so many changes to its original version so i wouldn't say its old itself
meh i haven't had any problems with spyware recently so it works fine to me  just the normal tracking cookies
sigh so there tracking my shit? >.<
Fags should all die.

hmm so theres a PG 2?
still dont see a reason for it though.
Havent used PG in years and im alright :)
Could it be due to internet encryption?

pretty much yes they are "tracking [your] shit"

and i dont know either : P i would assume a better way of blocking or more updated lists ? maybe it's more compatible to newer operating systems? less bulky program? better recovery? i have never used PG1 but i would assume something like that

eh, I still dont see any threat as of yet to be using such programs.(again)
If you have a protected router a firewall and ip encryption i dont see why anyone would bother to see what type of data is passing thru your connection.

But since you say that there is a PG2 i might consider checking it out.

mmmm it was just the opposite but with bittornado
Azureus is a really heavyweight torrent downloader, sure it looks nice but if i run it i shouldn't plan on doing anything else that would eat up a lot of resources
i usually encode while torrenting while playing a game (listening to music as well ofcourse) but while using Azureus i cant, i run out of memory far too quickly
it also has a lot of options i dont need like the video the search bar and all that other stuff (cant completely remember) i have websites to search for torrents and i have stage 6 for when i want to watch HQ videos

I use Azureus, no problems with watching Anime or playing games such as War3 or WoW. Slows down the connection a tiny bit but it isn't noticeable.
