I used to use BitComet, I think it was even more like that, but still even that was better than µTorrent.

Torrents are very important you shouldn't say there"GAY"
Just because you are a 'noob' at torrents dont mean you have the right to say there gay.

Torrents keep piracy alive.

Well i've seen most of the programs used, Azureas is probably the best, but it just took to much effort, i always stuck with utorrent. its easier than Bit torrent, Bitlord or Bit Commet, and i can run it while downloading through Megauploads and still play WC3 fairly well.

I use Azureus and BitComet. µTorrent sucks the most.
µTorrent has to be the most popular easy to use torrent client out there.
It simply dose what you want it to and thats download. it has other good torrent features and takes no space at all. its standalone at barely a few megs.
Azureus is a monster.
Its like downloading photoshop if all you want to do is draw circles; ridiculous.
I only use Azureus when using linux and barely.
Since there are other nice clients that could do a better job.

I also use Azureus rarely. BitComet and µTorrent are pretty similar, but when I compare them, I'd definitely chooce BitComet.

i agree with that, since i tend to use it along with WMP and Megauploads, when i had azerus i had to let it run alone

The difference bitween BitComet's and µTorrent's memory isn't much. Also, µTorrent is so popular, because it's popular.

i disagree im sure there is a big difference.
µTorrent basically takes nothing unless it's caching the data it downloads.
Azures takes much more and even uses java.

How was it not use friendly? I think it's as easy to use as µTorrent, and well, pretty similar in most ways. And the setup is also pretty similar, though I like the BitComet's setup better

I didnt really have a problem with Bitcomet, i just started with utorrent, and it always seemed easiest to me. Azureus was just, i guess it was to flashy a program, to much unneeded stuff.

agreed.
Iv used it on linux and to me it was a bit to flashy and to much of a program.
ITs more of like the "elite" program.
But most of the time when you see the word 'elite' theres always usless crap behind it.
in the end the so called "elite" be comes annoying and pointless.

For the 100th voter... I've frankly chose µtorrent because:
1) Light on Pc resources.
2) Fast (for me at least but not all the time)
3) Simpler than Azureus!!!

Nobody uses a client come with Opera  browser. If you liked Opera, it might be a choice. Although, I'm using µTorrent.

Then, how about a web service like http://www.bitlet.org.

I advise Deluge. It's a near photocopy of uTorrent except it's extensible (good add-ons), open source (no phoning home), and cross-platform (go mac osx/linux).

I'm using Thunder5 which combines torrent and e-mule downloads together.  It's in chinese though.  I wouldn't say it's really fast just on par with bitcomet 0.70.

You can get partial english translated features from Hehehunter's website.

Also in defense of Utorrent, I generally get around 300-750kb/s with it... those who get low probably haven't config'd it right.
